Ingredients
  

For the Yuzu Cha
  • 1 cup yuzu citrus sliced
  • 1 cup honey or sugar for sweetness
  • 4 cups water filtered for best flavor
  • Optional: hot water for serving

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced yuzu and honey (or sugar). Mix well and let it sit for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  2. Step 2: While waiting, bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Step 3: Once boiling, reduce the heat and add the yuzu and honey mixture to the water. Stir well.
  4. Step 4: Let it simmer for approximately 20 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Step 5: Strain the tea into cups or a teapot, discarding the solids.
  6. Step 6: Serve hot, adding more hot water to taste if desired. Enjoy the warmth!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 days. Reheat and add hot water to taste before serving.
