  • 1 lb shrimp deveined and peeled
  • 2 cups celery sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or canola or peanut oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Cooked Rice

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Step 3: Add the sliced celery and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until slightly tender.
  4. Step 4: Toss in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Step 7: Serve hot over cooked rice. Enjoy your creation!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water or soy sauce to keep it moist.
