- Step 1: In a large pitcher or jar, combine the hojicha tea leaves and cold water.
- Step 2: Stir gently to ensure the tea leaves are fully saturated.
- Step 3: Cover the pitcher or jar and refrigerate for 6 to 12 hours, depending on how strong you’d like the flavor to be.
- Step 4: After steeping, strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve or a tea strainer to remove the leaves.
- Step 5: Serve the cold brew hojicha over ice, or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
Notes
Make it creamier by adding a splash of milk or a non-dairy alternative. Sweeten with honey or agave syrup if desired.
